Privacy Policy

Gift Brief V1 beta is a gift planning app. It helps you create private gift profiles, capture relationship clues, browse gift ideas, and save gift plans.

Data You Provide

The V1 beta stores the following data in your account and on your device:

• Recipient names and relationships.
• Gift occasions, dates, and budgets.
• Gift clues and no-go signals you type into the app.
• Gift idea feedback, saved ideas, saved plans, and checklist status.
• Local beta metrics such as profile creation, clue capture, and gift-plan save counts.

Gift Brief uses Supabase to provide account sign-in and cloud backup. If you sign in with Apple or Google, Gift Brief may receive account identifiers and basic sign-in information such as email address or display name from that provider.

Gift Brief V1 beta does not sell personal data, use an advertising SDK, use a tracking SDK, include in-app purchases, include paid subscriptions, or include in-app checkout.

External Links

Some gift ideas may open external retailer, service, or venue websites outside Gift Brief. Those external sites have their own privacy practices. Gift Brief does not control those sites.

Deleting Data

You can delete app data in the app by opening Settings and choosing Reset all data. This removes saved profiles, clues, plans, beta metrics, and editable catalog overrides from this device and your account.

• No tracking.
• Data linked to the user for app functionality: user ID, sign-in contact information when provided by Apple or Google, and user-entered gift profile, clue, plan, and beta settings data.
• No advertising or third-party tracking.

If analytics, crash reporting, affiliate tracking, paid subscriptions, checkout, or AI services are added later, this policy and App Store privacy answers must be updated before release.
